Keep up the amazing effort ...I have read that this last section is difficult to say the least but I know you can do it. The McDonalds are so proud of you all and just think of that lovely hot bubble bath and massage when you return.

Go the almighty Tour de Gunbarrel

Hello Rosie, How are you going on the gunbarrel highway? Is it hard to cycle? You are almost there. Tahlia

Hi Donna, we were watching the Tour De France tonight and Alice asked if that is where you are... I told her "next year".
Keep on pedalling and watch out for those wild beasts.
It's great being able to track your progress.

Hi Guys,
Sounds like you'll have a few good stories to tell when you get back. A 100km road ride will be your recovery ride after this!
Keep going!

Sounds like your having a great time.
We've been keeping in touch with you at school and at home. Mrs Broad Bridge is treating very well just like you "Mr Holmes". Rosie you must be getting very tired on that Gunbarrel ride but it looks like you're having fun.
Keep on pedaling you're nearly there,

What's occurrin'? Why no word? We've been waiting for the next installment. Your movies are so neat, and we haven't heard from you since thursday! You haven't got lost in the long tall lemon meringue pie have you? Should we send a carrier pigeon? A zebra finch? A bush turkey?
Or is it just my computer? I really wish I'd had one in primary school.
Keenly awaiting news.
Love Margie and Jim (Canberra)

Hi Peter - Ben Wyld from DET's newspaper, Side by Side. I realise you're finishing the ride/on your way home but would love to chat to you and get a story in the next issue of the paper which goes into production next week. I've got your satellite phone number but haven't had any luck getting through. Can you call me on 02 9561 8643 when you can. Cheers,
Ben.

A big Hello again from the McDonald clan we are starting to worry about you as you have not posted any news for a while..it's probably because you've got red sand in your undies.
Hope you are all well and hopefully you have finished the ride.

So proud of you all Susie

Hi,
Mr Holmes now that I am in high school I can call you Peter. So how has this experience been? I still have my education e-mail so send me lots of pictures of the ride. And send me pics of Uluru at sunset and sunrise if you're up early enough.
Lizzy
